
The 4C STEM Club is thrilled to give students the chance to participate in the Lake County Robotics Competition, organized by the College of Lake County. This hands-on STEM event challenges students to design, build, and program robots to complete tasks, fostering teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation. The top teams from the competition will showcase their robots at the Lake County Maker Faire, the final event where participants demonstrate their projects to the community and compete for recognition.

The 4C STEM Club is thrilled to offer students the opportunity to take part in the You Be The Solution Challenge, a national STEM competition organized by CEFInSTEM. This hands-on challenge encourages students to apply science and engineering concepts to real-world problems, fostering teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills while giving students the chance to represent the club in an exciting and competitive environment.

This national STEM program challenges students to design and build a model city of the future. Participants imagine, plan, and present innovative solutions to real-world sustainability and engineering challenges, fostering creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking.

4C STEM Club is a proud partner of IJAS (Illinois Junior Academy of Science)! As an affiliated club, students in 7th and 8th grade can participate in the IJAS Science Fair through our club, receiving mentorship throughout the entire process from developing project ideas and conducting experiments to preparing presentations.
